TRAFILUX MMA 200 PRO is a lightweight and portable inverter device designed for welding with covered electrodes. This model is suitable both for workshop use and for installation, repair, and service work. Thanks to its compact design and low weight, the welder is convenient to transport and use on a daily basis.
The device is equipped with a built-in input voltage stabilization module, which enables operation within the AC 140–260 V range. The welder can operate with power generators and with welding cables up to 100 m long, which increases convenience of use in various conditions.
The model offers smooth adjustment of the welding current in the 20–200 A range and is equipped with an ANTI-STICK module, which makes work easier and reduces the risk of the electrode sticking. An additional advantage of the device is the TIG Lift mode, which expands the welder’s range of applications.
The welder has 35–50 mm welding sockets, and its design is based on IGBT technology transistors. This solution results in lower energy consumption, reduced electromagnetic interference, higher efficiency, and a stronger, more stable welding arc.
The device is intended for welding steel, including stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, and cast iron.
Additional functions and advantages
The digital LED display on the welder ensures precise monitoring and adjustment of operating parameters. Thanks to this, the welder has full control over the welding process and can easily adjust the settings to the specific job.
Large cable sockets
The welder is equipped with large cable sockets that allow safe connection of cables with larger cross-sections, ensuring a more stable current flow. This is especially important when working at high power, where smaller sockets could cause voltage drops and overheating of components.
Generator operation capability – resistance to input voltage fluctuations in the AC 140–260 V range
This function allows the welder to operate smoothly under unstable power supply conditions, for example when powered by a generator. The welder can work with changing voltage in the 140–260 V AC range, making it ideal for fieldwork where power stability is limited.
Operation with welding cables up to 100 m long
Thanks to this feature, the welder can work with long welding cables up to 100 m, which is especially useful in places where access to the welding area is difficult. At the same time, the welder maintains stable operating parameters, ensuring efficiency and welding quality over longer distances.
Fan cooling
The built-in fan provides effective cooling of the device, protecting it from overheating and extending its service life. This allows longer operation without breaks.
60% duty cycle at 200 A
The high efficiency of the device means that it can operate at maximum power for a longer time without the risk of overheating. This is a good solution for intensive welding tasks.
TIG Lift welding
The possibility of TIG welding using a special TIG torch with a valve. Arc ignition takes place by lightly rubbing the non-consumable electrode against the welded material, which enables precise welding of thin sheets.
IGBT technology
The use of IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) transistors results in:
reduced electromagnetic interference,
low power losses,
increased efficiency and reliability,
lower energy consumption.
