Dear buyer. The low price of the product is due to a manufacturing error, as the ties may (but do not have to) break during installation. However, there is a solution — simply immerse the ties completely in hot (not boiling) water for preferably 5 to 15 minutes before use. This solution reduces the problem of ties breaking during installation by about 95%. After installation, they behave normally. In our tests on several dozen packs of ties, after this treatment, from 8 down to 4 ties broke during installation.

Note: Cable ties sometimes break during installation. However, if this happens too often, you should know that at lower temperatures water can be extracted from the material more quickly, increasing its brittleness and making zip ties more prone to breaking.
If you encounter such a situation, soak them in hot water for at least 15 minutes before use to soften the bonds and reduce the risk of breakage.
