TRAFILUX MMA HERO 200 is a lightweight and portable inverter unit designed for welding with coated electrodes. The welder is equipped with a digital display, supports Lift TIG mode, and offers smooth adjustment of the welding current in the 20–200 A range, making it suitable both for workshop tasks and for more demanding applications.
A major advantage of this model is the built-in voltage stabilization module, which enables operation within a wide AC 140–280 V range. The unit is compatible with power generators and can operate with welding cables up to 100 m long.
The model has been designed to work in harsh environments, with high levels of dust and humidity. All electronic components are protected with polyurethane resin, which reduces the risk of damage caused by water or metal filings. The unit is intended for welding steel, including stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, and cast iron. Another design advantage is the use of IGBT transistors, which provide higher efficiency, lower energy consumption, reduced electromagnetic interference, and a stronger, more stable welding arc.
The welder is equipped with an ANTI-STICK module and ARC FORCE arc dynamics adjustment, which makes operation easier and allows the parameters to be better matched to the welded material. The front panel also features a ready-to-work indicator and a service indicator informing the user about overheating or an error.
Advantages and functions
Waterproof Technology
The unit is resistant to moisture and water ingress.
Energy-saving mode
After several minutes of inactivity, the unit will automatically switch off the fan and enter standby mode. Touching the potentiometers wakes the unit up and restores it to operation.
Built-in voltage stabilizer
Enables operation with power generators and the use of long power cables up to 100 m and long welding cables up to 50 m.
Intelligent input voltage detection system
Operating range from 110 V to 280 V.
ARC FORCE
Facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing the arc from going out when the electrode droplet comes into contact with the weld pool.
VRD
This is a voltage reduction system whose purpose is to switch off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding is completed. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the coated electrode to a safe level.
IGBT inverter technology
This is a modern technology based on insulated gate bipolar transistors. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating life of welding equipment.
Ease of use
The welder is equipped with a simple control panel, making it suitable even for amateur users.
Industrial use
Thanks to its high build quality and multifunctionality, the unit can be used both for professional and hobby applications.
Device mobility
Inverter welders are much lighter and smaller than outdated transformer welders, which makes them significantly easier to move between workplaces.
